Hi all...figured I'd write something here since it doesn't appear I'm coming to the reunion.

1988 - 89 went to the greatest college in the nation USC (go Gamecocks!!) but then decided as much as I love the school, the whole college thing wasn't for me.   I moved to VA shortly after that and started working for the government.

After a couple different jobs, I left in 1995 to work for a small company (working from home yay).  During the time working for the new company I decided to teach myself computers and programming and that led me to where I am today.

Presently I work for a government contractor supporting mainly the Dept of Justice.  

On the relationship side of things, after Darlene broke my heart ( lol just kidding), I ended up getting married in 1993 and was married up until earlier this year.  I met a wonderful woman with 3 kids and we bought a house in May and moved in together.  We're expecting a baby together next April and I couldn't be more in love and excited about my new baby.  It's my first child :)

There are a few things I might have done differently, but in general life has been pretty good.  Take care all and I hope everyone enjoys the reunion.

High school seems like 2 lifetimes ago! The best things about being at Socastee High are the lifelong friendships that were formed there. I'm still best buds with Krys Wood (Wood-Elmore) Philip Porter and Nancy Todd (R.I.P.).
I miss the beach! I've been living in the snow and rain of Delaware after meeting and falling in love with a local boy. I tell everyone that I was a victim of the ole bait "n switch because we met to college in North Carolina in 1989! I've only been home once in all those years.
It was worth the relocation. Patrick and I have been together for a very long time and are still passionately in love! We are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in June!
We have two very happy, healthy, exhaustingly active and intelligent kids.(Not that I'm biased). Zachary is the creative, strong but sensitive type. Kaylan is very determined (which, let's be honest, is just another word for stubborn!) She really takes life on her own terms and makes no apologies for doing so. The news, ladies and gentlemen, is that she's only 4 years old! The family is rounded out with an adrenaline crazed lap dog whose behavior I'd blame on inbreeding, except for the fact that he's a Bichon-Poodle mix. His name is Jax.
Perhaps my second trip home will be for the reunion!

I had to leave Socastee my Sophmore year but remember it and most of you guys fondly. I moved to Indiana and attended Westfield High School where I met my husband Kirk We have 4 beautiful children Laurin 18 who is married to our wonderful son-in-law Robert, Kaylin - 15, Dustin - 13 and our baby Dylan - 12.  I Teach young children under the age of 3 about the love of Christ in a wonderful Childcare ministry I look forward to seeing all of you again.

I graduated from Duke in 1992 and from USC Law in 1995.  My husband David and I were married in 1993; we will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary this August.  I practiced law in Myrtle Beach for a couple years before joining my family's businesses, where I now serve as President for Sea Mist Resort and Family Kingdom Amusement Park and Oceanfront Waterpark.

Hello everyone, I am really looking forward to connecting with old friends again and maybe meeting a few new ones.

Life has been good to me.  I went to college after high school... first to Horry Georgetown Tech...worked in retail at Belk for a while and then decided to grow up and went to college again at Charleston Southern University.  After living in Charleston for a while I got into television advertising and it's been my passion ever since.  I began working for the local cable company and a few years later I went to work for Showtime Networks where I did PR and Marketing events all over the country.  My home base was in Fort Lauderdale/Atlanta.   

After working with Showtime Networks for a while, I moved on to work for an advertising agency in Miami Florida that specialized in cable television networks.  I was promoted to Atlanta with my firm about 4 years ago.  I work on  local, regional and national promotions with HGTV, MTV, ESPN, Food Network, Nickelodeon and Lifetime.   

I also recently became a co-host on a television cooking show on Channel 3 in Hunstville Alabama.  We are taping episodes now, they should begin airing in August/September 2008.  I'm also slowly (very slowly) working on a cookbook that will be out sometime in 2009.

No kids, no wife because I am gay!  (I guess the rumors were true!) I do have a adorable cat named Chloe though...
