City: Arlington
State/Prov.: MA Occupation: designer, photographer (self-employed) Website: www.rubicat.com Marital Status: Married From Tammy: I earned a B.A. in English (1993) from the College of Charleston. I met an M.I.T. student online in January 1993, and moved to Boston after graduation to meet him. We've been together ever since; after two years in Minneapolis, we settled back near Boston in 1996, where I have worked as a graphic designer, a design team manager, and, since 2003, as a freelancer (rubicat.com). I help small businesses with brand identity and design, and I photograph everything from pets to products. My book, "Smitten Kitten: I'm Too Swanky for my Catnip," was due to be published in August 2008, but the publisher went out of business. I dressed and photographed 39 cats in provocative outfits, many of which I created myself. I'm published in several other pet-care books, though. My husband is a software engineer; we both work from home most of the time. I entertain often and we love to travel. A lot. |

City: Midlothian/Richmond State/Prov.: VA Occupation: Recently Relocated Back to the U.S./Mom Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Amber: My husband and I (and 3 kids ) just moved back from Belgium after being there for 3 years with his job. It was an awesome experience! We even picked up some French and brought home a Belgian souvenir in the form of a baby! Hope you are doing well and look forward to seeing you at the reunion. This is a picture of my youngest child, Katherine (she is 17 months) and I. We also have a 9 year old son and a 5 year old daughter. I graduated from Queens University in Charlotte, NC with a degree in Psychology and worked in Professional Sales with a Software Company and a Recruiting Firm but quit work after my firstborn. We've lived in Charlotte, Northern Virginia, St. Louis, Missouri , Belgium and now Richmond. I was very involved with the American Woman's Club of Brussels, Belgium directing a class that helped english- speaking women live and work in Belgium as expatriates. It was a great experience. Kind Regards, Amber Winfield Roberts |

City: Sollentuna State/Prov.: Stockholm Occupation: Account Manager Marital Status: Committed Relationship No. of Children: 3 From Jörgen: No, I don’t high-light my hair anymore and I cut it short about the same time as the fall of the Berlin Wall… I believe it had something to do with the 80s. After graduation I went back to Sweden for college to study mechanical engineering which turned out to be a big mistake since I’m not really a technical guy, but I had an awesome time ;-) I did one year in the army in 92-93 and after that I started to work in sales at a local computer reseller. I moved with the company to Stockholm (capital of Sweden) in 1995 and in 96 I was offered a position at Dell as an account manager. I stayed with Dell (switched to marketing) until May this year when I decided that after 12 years in the same organization it was time to try something else. So I took the big jump over to software instead and are now working for Novell. In 1998 I meet my sambo (not married) Nelly and we have three girls together Naomi 6Y, Vanessa 4Y and Michelle 2Y. With four girls in the house everything is pink/purple and I have now a master in doing ponytails in the morning… I haven’t been back in Myrtle Beach since I left, but I once in while take a look in the year book and remember the good old days wonder what happened to everyone. It has been extremely interesting to read all stories here and looking at all pictures! I hope you all (yuall) have a great reunion!!! MÃ¥ gott!!! |

City: Albuquerque State/Prov.: NM Occupation: Mom/wife/Registered Nurse (in that order) Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Maile: Well, after graduation, I moved to New Mexico and attended UNM w/ the intention of going pre-med and on to medical school. Needless to say, I DON'T like physics, After breifly changing my major to English, I settled on nursing as medicine is my passion. I have worked in a very busy pediatric intensive care unit since I graduaded in 1993. I met a very cute soccer player at UNM in early 1989 and after 10 years of "dating", we finally sealed the relationship. We now have two beautiful (no - I'm serious - beautiful - I can't beleive these children came from me!) children. Davin is almost 7 and Liam is 5. I return to MB about every 1-2 years as I still have a sister living there. The rest of my family eventually joined me in Albuquerque. I hoping to make it to the reunion - I will be there in May, so we'll see... |
