Wow!   Where do I begin?  Let's see.  Because of my dads military job, I moved to Hawaii in the middle of my junior  senior year  at Socastee.   I then attended Radford High, where I graduated in 1988.  I went on to college there and also started working in ortho.  My family then moved to Southern Ca.  in 1990 where I am now currently living.  In 1991 I meet my awesome husband  Robert, who works for LA County  Fire  Department.  Yes,  a  fireman!!!   We got married in 1993 and had our first son in 1998.  Jake is now 10.   We loved having a boy so much,  we had another one in 2001.  Kyle is now 6.  With two busy boys,  I left ortho.  to stay home and take care of the fort.  I love being a stay at home mom and would not trade it  for anything.   So, there you have it.   I have truly been blessed.  I can't wait to see you all at the reunion.   Seeing all your faces on this site brings back so many great memories.  Great job Joe!

I can't believe it's been 20 years. I just talked to Lisa Lanier for about 1 and 1/2 hours on the phone. She told me about this website. I didn't graduate with the class because I had decided to move out on my own and the principle at the time said I couldn't go to school if I didn't live with my legal guardian. I was young and stupid and decided I just wouldn't finish with only four months to go. I had my son, Dylan, when I was 19. I married his father, Tom Nophsker, six months later. We divorced before our second anniversary. I joined the Air Force and they stationed me in Goldsboro NC. I met Bo there and we have been married 14 years now. I have a step-son, Trey who is 21 and a step-daughter, Ashley who is 18. My son, Dylan is 18. We got out of the Air Force in 1995 and moved to Charlotte NC. I worked at Conbraco for 4 years before getting a job with ConMet. ConMet sold the division I work for to Holland. We make Simplex fifth wheels for 18 wheelers. I have worked with Holland for 4 years now and was promoted to plant manager in January.

My step-daughter is the only one to attend college. She started in August at Western Carolina on a full ride scholorship for golf. Dylan will be moving in with us in about two weeks to try to find better job opportunities.

Hello Everyone,
WOW, WOW, WOW...ya'll sure are OLD! smile  Well let's begin with a little history.  A couple years after graduation I joined the Army in March of 1990. Married my high school sweetheart Kim (Class of '89) in November 1991 (the best decision ever). Welcomed our first child in 1993, the next in 1995, and the last 2002. Yep that makes 3 beautiful kids. Left the Army after giving them the best 4 years of my life. Went to college and graduated from Horry Georgetown Tech in 1997 with an Associate degree in Computer Technology. Spent four months in the hospital, but all Glory to God I'm doing fine. Moved to Texas in 1998 where my wife and I and the kids have been living since. I'm working at ATT and my wife is a RN. We both love our jobs and have been blessed with good health.  Look forward to seeing you all and catching up. Class of '88!!!

Yes!! I'm still happily married to my high school sweetheart, Gene Smith. We just celebrated our 20 year anniversary on Aug. 6th 2008. We have two teenage sons 13 and 17. Our 17 year old will be graduating from Socastee this year. Life is good and we are truly blessed.

Just like everyone else, I can't believe it's been 20 years.

In those 20 years, I attended Methodist College in Fayetteville, NC and North Carolina State University.  I got married to my wonderful bride, Patti, in July 1992 and have had 2 children, both boys.  The oldest is now 13, and the youngest is 8.  I have stayed in Myrtle Beach after college and now work as the GM of the Classic Golf Group.

I certainly look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.
