Wow! What a fun trip down memory lane--all these great things I had forgotten but am so glad to be reminded of!  I graduated Winthrop and moved up to the DC area, went into retail and got lucky with a job with Tommy Hilfiger.  Met a wonderful guy, got married in 96, spent a couple of years in NYC for my job, came back to the DC area to start a family and began doing some e-commerce consulting here.  Just after our first child, my husband got transferred to San Fran, so we spent five years there and just recently got back to our home in Northern VA/DC suburbs. Whiile we were in SF, I must have had a moment of insanity or missed the beach TERRIBLY as we decided to buy a Bed and Breakfast in Carolina Beach and me manage it from the West Coast. Go figure. Anyway, we're back East now, still own the B&B and I spend most of my time juggling the kids, the dog, the Inn and doing some PT retail consulting from home.  Things are good!  Looking forward to seeing everyone and continuing to check this site to hear what everyone has been up to.

Where has the last 20 years gone? Wow! Lets see after high school I never left Myrtle Beach. Married my wonderful husband James in 2001, got a SPOILED ROTTEN Boston Terrier in 2003 and had a BEAUTIFUL baby girl named Brylei Kameron in 2005. Well I feel like most of the others, has it really been 20 years?!?  So much has happened, yet it seems as if hardly any time has gone by.  I have been around the world and back since leaving highschool, but somehow have made it back close to home, in Gaffney, SC.  My life is filled with my four children and their activities.  I make it back to Socastee at least every other month to visit my mom and little sister, who both still live in the area.  God has been very good to me and my beautiful family.  

Look forward to seeing some familiar faces at the reunion.  Hope everyone enjoys life to the fullest.

Hello Everyone! 
It has been a long road since we left the those halls at Socastee. Many of us stayed in the area and kept the homefires burning, so to speak. Military wouldnt take me with my asthma and had to find a different path. I worked many long term jobs since leaving high school. in 1994, Kevin Creach talked me into joining the Volunteer Fire Service in Surfside Beach. After many classes and plenty of training, the opportunity presented itself for a paid carrer in the service. In 2005, I started working shift duty pulling 24 hours straight. Somehow, I caught my bosses attention as a hard worker and was offered the Fire Marshal position, which I took in May of 2006. I get the fun honor of inspecting businesses for fire and life safety, as well as public education. As far as family life, not as good. Lost my Father in 97 from Lung Cancer and Mom in '05 from congestive heart failure. Love life as follows. Married Lisa Dusenbury in 1990 and divorced in 92. Then hooked up with Annie McKay (class of '86) in 1997 and were married in 1998. We had a ready made family with her 2 children and built a house in Murrells Inlet. Sadly that starting falling apart in 2006 and we separated in 2007 and are in the final stages of divorce. I was fortunate enough at our little mixer back in April to run into a friend from class of '87 who introduced me to my current girlfriend who is a local chiropractor and teaches medical classes at HGTC.  Who knows....perhaps third time is the charm????

Hello Everyone.  Had lots of smiles while looking over this site.  Hope to see you at the reunion.  I've been back in the Charleston area since 1991.  I'm from this area but moved to Murrells Inlet when I was real little.  Started K-5 with many of you at Lakewood.

I married Robert in 1995, he's from North Georgia.  He's real sweet to me!  We work together.  We do this amazing work called Active Isolated Stretching.  It's advanced body therapy - very hard work, but very rewarding.   It truely changes peoples lives.  
Robert and I are remodeling our house, ourselves!  It will be finished...someday.

Well let's see!  It's been a long time!  Since High School I have lived in Florida for about 13 years and am now currently living in Roanoke, VA.  I have been an over the road truck driver for about the last 6 or so years and I love it.  Been all over the country but now I pretty much go back and forth in between Chicago and Virginia.

Let’s see…20-year summary:

Graduated from Clemson in 1993 (GO TIGERS!!!) where I met my beautiful wife, Gidget.  Moved to Charlotte, NC with my best-man Mark Noah and lived there for 6-years.  In 1999, Gidget and I quit our jobs, sold our house, got married in Charleston and moved to Ocean Isle Beach, NC (10-mi north of the stateline).  Met so many great people in NC that were probably in Crazy Zacks, Spanish Galion, Swells and 2001 at the same time we were.  In 2002 we decided to start a family (now or never) and our son, Porter, was born in Jan-2003.  A recent career opportunity brought us to the Savannah, GA area in 2007, where we were blessed with our baby girl, Gabrielle, in Aug-2007.  If you’re ever planning St Patrick’s Day in Savannah, drop me a line.

We regularly visit Myrtle Beach and OIB and occasionally bump into someone from SHS.

Can’t wait to see everyone.  Get a babysitter because IT’S PARTY TIME!!!
